Civilian Emergency Trauma Response (CETR)

The Civilian Emergency Trauma Response, or CETR, class is a dive into intermediate Trauma aid. Taught by certified EMTs and Trauma Medics, students will learn skills to provide aid to victims of traumatic injury from experienced instructors. Students will learn principles based on the MARCH protocol, and TCCC, trauma protocols proven in combat. This class uses highly detailed training aids to demonstrate different types of traumatic injury, and allows students to learn skills such as packing wounds, stabilizing breaks, applying tourniquets, and preparing patients for transportation to a higher level of care. Additionally, students may purchase an IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit,) from First Action Rescue, A local Idaho Falls based company, and learn the importance of each component and how to properly use it.
